Poem By: Wilfred Owen
This is an effective hostile to war lyric. The lyric is composed from the perspective of some who has the exceptionally shut and genuine experience of the war and the combat zone and who is by and by and physically included in the war. The demise fighters in the field are seen as cows. It is the loss of the human quality. In the first stanza we have numerous more words identified with sound. The dead officer in the war zone is not ready to get any passing chime. Passing ringer is one of the sacred things in Christianity. Set up of the passing ringer, there is the horrendous sound originating from firearms and rifles. The passing officers is not ready to get petition to God, which is another sacred thing about Christianity. Toward the end of first stanza the writer composes that there are no any voices which express trouble over the passing of the fighters. The sound originating from the cornet calls the relatives of the dead fighters' miserable house.
The second stanza is brimming with words identified with light. Light and pall are the other blessed thing of the Christianity that a hard of hearing individual gets. There are no candles in the hands of young men and young ladies. The passing warriors don't get any pall. The eyebrows of the young ladies and young men turn into the ball for the dead warriors with the eyes brimming with tears the young men and young lady say goodbye to the dead officers. They just persistently experience the ill effects of the loss of the dead warriors. The light toward the end of the lyric changes into the aggregate obscurity. The writer is letting us know that war is the dull part of mankind's history.
